This is a beautiful example of the iconic Rolex Oyster Datejust from 1970. The solid steel and solid gold (fluted bezel) case is in near faultless condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original and rare steel pearlescent dial with ‘Wide Boy’ batons is again in very good condition with only the most minor signs of age. The original Rolex signed ‘chronometer’ standard automatic movement is also in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a new, super high quality, black Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with Hirsch steel buckle.

The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainless Steel’ and ‘1601’. The age reference is 11.70 dating it to 1970.
