This is a beautiful example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1972. The steel and solid gold (fluted bezel) case is in near faultless condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original and untouched matt black Rolex signed dial is again in overall excellent condition and looks striking (there are some minor signs of wear but these are hard to see with the naked eye) – the applied gold batons and hands provide a lovely contract to the dial and are perfectly framed by the solid gold fluted bezel. The original Rolex signed chronometer standard automatic movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a new, super high quality, black Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with gold plated Hirsch buckle.

In view of the condition and quality of the movement we will give a 12 month guarantee.

The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainless Steel’ and ‘1601’.
