The original and untouched steel textured dial is again in excellent condition. The steel hands provide the softest contrast to the dial and are perfectly framed by the gleaming solid white gold fluted bezel. The Overview
The Case
The solid steel case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original and untouched steel textured dial is again in excellent condition. The case measures 36mm across, excluding the Rolex signed crown and 42mm long including the lugs. The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainless Steel’ and the reference is ‘1603’. The serial number is 3.32million dating it to 1972.
The Movement
The very grade Rolex signed chronometer standard automatic movement is in excellent condition and it’s just been serviced by our professional watchmaker. The movement is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Swiss’, ‘Twenty Six 26 Jewels’, ‘Adjusted 5 Positions and Temperature’ and the calibre is 1570. The movement number is ‘421805’.
