Stunning 2004 Rolex Oyster GMT Master 16710 Pepsi Full Set

The Overview

This is a beautiful example of the Rolex Oyster GMT Master II 16710 dating from 2004 ( Sale Date – Y Serial). The guaranteed genuine Rolex signed jet black dial is of course untouched and in excellent condition – the Pepsi ‘Serif’ bezel, whilst genuine Rolex, will almost certainly have been replaced by Rolex in the last year or so. The solid steel case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear and very light surface scratching.  The very high grade Rolex signed automatic movement is again in excellent condition and will be serviced by our professional watchmaker prior to delivery and we’ll give a 12 month guarantee on it. The Rolex bracelet is again in very good condition with only light surface scratching – please advise your wrist size when ordering. In terms of provenance we have:

  • The Rolex punched papers
  • The Rolex brochures
  • The Rolex swing tag with correct serial and model reference ‘BLRO’
  • The Rolex chronometer chip
  • The Rolex boxes – inner and outer
  • The Rolex calendar

The Conclusion

This is a rare and highly collectable vintage watch from one of horology’s most famous names and will, if history is any judge, provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to treasure and enjoy. I will provide an insurance valuation in excess of my asking price. Please appreciate the difficulty of photographing this piece, it looks even better in real life. Subject to your location I’ll happily show the watch.
